Fiber Laser Applied in Aluminous Gusset Plate Cutting of Stretch Ceiling
A Stretch Ceiling is a suspended ceiling system consisting of two basic components–a perimeter track with aluminum and lightweight fabric membrane which stretches and clips into the track. In addition to ceilings the system can be used for wall coverings, light diffusers, floating panels, exhibitions and creative shapes.
Stretch ceilings are manufactured from a PVC film to which a “harpoon” is welded to the perimeter. Installation is achieved by first fixing a special aluminium profile around the room, then heating the ceiling up to 50 degrees Celsius and stretching the film and finally inserting the “harpoon” into the profile’s locking channel. The cooling film then shrinks to provide a perfect ceiling. Behind the stretch ceiling it is possible to hide wires, ventilation systems and more. On the surface of the ceiling you can install lamps, smoke detectors, ventilation openings etc.
With the development, aluminuous gusset plate is an important part of the stretch ceiling. Due to its colorful colors, strong decoration and good weather resistance, the alumunuous gusset plate is widely used in outdoor curtain wall, interior high-end home and advertisement decoration.
Since the aluminuous gusset plate needs one or more times cutting to get what the customer needed, thus fiber laser cutting is a good way to improve the cutting efficiency and cutting precision.
